Bidirectional stainless steel pipe fittings combine the performance characteristics of 304 and austenitic stainless steel pipe fittings. This article compares duplex stainless steel pipe fittings with stainless steel pipe fittings products made of 304 and 316L as the main materials, and draws the following differences:

A. Duplex stainless steel pipe fittings have excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, especially in environments containing chloride ions. Even duplex stainless steel pipes containing alloys have higher resistance to stress corrosion cracking than austenitic stainless steel pipes. Ability, stress corrosion is a prominent problem that is difficult to solve for ordinary austenitic stainless steel pipes;
B. The corrosion resistance of duplex stainless steel pipe fittings, which is the most commonly used in many media, is better than that of ordinary 316L austenitic stainless steel pipes, while super duplex stainless steel pipes have extremely high corrosion resistance. Some media, such as acetic acid, formic acid, etc. can even replace high-alloy austenitic stainless steel pipes and even corrosion-resistant alloys;
C. It has good local corrosion resistance. Compared with austenitic stainless steel pipes with similar alloy content, due to the high strength and good corrosion resistance of duplex stainless steel pipes, its wear corrosion resistance and corrosion fatigue performance are better than 304 stainless steel pipe fittings.
